In the summer of 2009 JES (Jeugd en Stad) organized a 'construction-playground' on the abandoned territory of Thurn & Taxis - Brussels. They invited young locals to contribute on the development of their area by letting them build huts on this blind spot. In that way the children got the chance to actively use this zone and question the decision on the future of their urban environment.
 

Together with the participants I documented this project and got the chance to discover the city from a different point of view.
